2022 Apple Fest

The Apple Fest began as a way to help valley residents clean the fruit from their trees, in order to discourage bears foraging in the fall. It has since grown into a full-fledged fall celebration.

 

Cider Pressing

Bring any apples or pears from your fruit trees and volunteers will press it into cider. Take home some cider in your own clean, quart-size container, or purchase a NMCC growler for $20.

 

Hearty Harvest Lunch $5

Feed the family without spending a fortune. Proceeds benefit the Nine Mile Community Center.

 

Music

Local bluegrass musicians will play throughout the day to keep the toes tapping and the cider pressing humming.

 

Hay rides

Take a spin up the road to soak up the beautiful sights of the valley and [hopefully] some warm autumn sunshine.
