5th Annual Nine Mile Turkey Trot: 5K and 1-Mile Gobbler

Join us for our annual 5k and 1-Mile fun run/walk Turkey Trot! Get a great start to your Thanksgiving with a morning with friends and beautiful scenery as we trot through the valley. Once finished, or for those not participating in the walk/run, participants will find several breakfast treats such as pancakes, an oatmeal bar, muffins, and fruit. This is a super laid back and fun event. There is no timing and the distance is accurate to our devices and watches lol. Come out and join us for the FIFTH ANNUAL Nine Mile Community 5K TURKEY TROT or 1 mile GOBBLER.

This event is for all levels and all ages! This can be done at your own pace whether it be a walk or run. This is not a timed event. Afterwards we will meet in the community center to warm up and refuel for the day with beverages (coffee, hot cocoa and cider) and some small breakfast snacks. The community center will be open by 8:45am so if you have family members/friends that are unable to run/walk they are welcome to go inside and stay warm while waiting for you. Feel free to bring home made breakfast items to share with the neighborhood. There will also be some Thanksgiving/turkey themed arts and crafts for kids to enjoy!

Both 5k and 1 mile events will start at 9am. The 1-Mile Gobbler shares the same course as the 5K and ends at the bottom of the Community Center driveway, 5K participants continue on 9-Mile Road.

Dogs are welcome to join, but please have them leashed. Dogs are not allowed in the community center though. Sorry!

*We will try to provide a weather update on the website a day or two prior to the event. It is best to bring ice cleats and dress for any type of weather!
