BOARD OF DIRECTOR ELECTIONS

The Nine Mile Community Center Board of Directors is composed of nine volunteer Members who are elected by the community for three-year terms.  The terms are staggered so three Member seats are available for election each year.  All residents of the 59846 zip code are eligible to run for and vote on candidates for the available Board of Director Member seats.  Elections begin each year in September and close in October, with new Members beginning their terms in November.  Community members vote by paper ballot and may mail in their ballots or drop them off with a current Board Member during a community event.  Community members may vote on the names listed on the ballot or write in a candidate.  All voters and Board Members must reside in the 59846 zip code for their ballot to be counted.

Want to be on the Board of Directors?

Candidates must submit a biography expressing their interest in running for an available seat.  Biographies are due to the Board of Directors via email no later than August 31st.  All candidate biographies will be available for review by the community.

2025 Elections

Voting is closed for 2025!  Congratulations to our New Board Members!  Thank you to everyone who voted, those who continue to serve, and to all those who have served in the past!

The Board of Directors recently had a position open up, outside of the general membership election process. Donna Weaver stepped down from the Board and Julie Van Hise was Board-elected onto the Board of Directors.
